Can animation really been turned into live action?
My reply tends toward NO.
Now I am really scared for Avatar and everything else coming next.

I'm worried as hell, I don't have high hopes for this movie at all, though I love the show.
Who knows though, I hope it surprises me for the better, but I doubt it.

Thanks for the links though, I've been wondering what the Aang kid looks like. Not too bad for book one but I hope he's older for book 3 lol

My anger is not computable. *keyboard smash* They chose possibly some of the worst actors for the parts. My dear Avatar is going to pot. However, I must say I do like the set design and the fire nation clothing (even if it is not very similar to that of the show. My eyes are burning.

However, the GI Joe movie preview looked okay. But who knows.... Transformers worked though. It's just hit or miss, really.

Though I've never had much, if any, faith in this adaptation, I'll wait a bit longer before I pass final judgement.

These photos have done nothing to give me any hope, though. Aang looks okay...but Zuko? No ponytail, barely any scar...and no golden eyes! Those beautiful honey orbs are probably my favourite Zuko feature! Of course they might go in during post production...like Storm's and Mystique's in the X-Men movies...
